In a victimhood culture there are only two ways to gain prestige; you have to emphasize your victimhood - to show all the cuts and bruises from all the things that have happened to you. And the more you have the more prestige you have. But if you are in the unfortunate situation of not having been victimized, all you can do to gain status is to really vociferously prosecute other people who victimize other people.His concluding remark is spot on:
